He was an athlete growing up playing both baseball and soccer throughout his childhood and through high school. Jared received his love of movies from his mother as they would often escape the rainy PNW weather by going to the local theater. The idea of one day being able to become someone else on screen was a dream that was implanted into Jared's brain early on in life even though no one in his family had an artistic bone in their body.
As a result, the dream of one day becoming an actor stayed just that, a dream. Jared went on to attend Western Washington University and received his degree in business administration. Jared plays Thomas, a small and scowling Junior Fur Company Guard who suffers a lot of abuse and learns to dole it out in turn.
